The MTOPS Tournament Series is Back

MTOPSFull Tilt Poker guarantees $750,000 at the Micro Turbo Online Poker Series (MTOPS), which is organized between 12th and 26th October, 2014. The MTOPS tournament schedule contains 60 poker tournaments altogether, so you will definitely find the tournament format suiting you the best.

The Micro Turbo Online Poker Series at Full Tilt is a relatively new one, which has been brought forth by the high number of lower-stake players. As its name suggests, the buy-ins range between $0.55 and $15. Thus even players with small bankrolls have the opportunity to have big wins out of the smallest possible investment.

Highlighted MTOPS tournaments

Let’s start with the two extremities: the cheapest tournament is a $0.55 NLHE Turbo rebuy, where $5,000 are guaranteed; and the most expensive one is the $15 main event, which is actually going to be a Multi-Day event with more first days. It’s going to be launched on all the 15 days (except for the first day and 3 times each day). The qualifiers then can fight for the guaranteed $350,000 prizepool on the last day, 26th October.

Besides the above ones, you can try out more tournament types offered by Full Tilt. There are going to be Escalator, Flipout and Rush tournaments as well; of course, in addition to the proven Holdem, Omaha and Stud tournament types. It’s important that all the tournaments are going to be launched in turbo format, so it’s worth adjusting your strategy to that.

MTOPS satellites

Although almost all the tournaments fall into the affordable category here, the $15 buy-in for the main event can easily be problematic; all the more, since if one can’t finish among the qualifiers on the first few days, they can keep trying on the other first days; and instead of paying two, three or more buy-ins, it may be cheaper to get a place via the cheaper satellites.

So, to be cost-effective, I recommend you the incredibly cheap satellites, which start from $0.01 or cost you 5 Full Tilt Ponits.

MTOPS extras

The organizers of MTOPS have prepared with more specialities this fall. There’s going to be a MyMTOPS tournament, at which, you can decide upon the type of one event, can win your buy-in for the main event, and can rake a $50 tournament package as well.

They also placed a bounty on the heads of sponsored players, meaning if you drop out any of them, you get $100 for each.

In the end, an MTOPS leaderboard is going to be set up - the best-performing player receives a tournament package worth $1,500 plus an entry for the FTOPS main event. He/She thus cannot only try his/her talent in the world of miicro stakes, but also among the pros.

Try yourself at the MTOPS - if you don’t have an account at FTP yet, you can also get hold of a $600 bonus. Click on our special link.
